Hiring Charges
The hiring charges are:
Main Hall £15 per hour ( minimum hire of 1.5 hrs)
Rates for Commercial Hire are £30 per hour.
Lily Parrington Room: £10 per hour (minimum hire of 1.5hrs)
Rates for Commercial Hire are £20 per hour.
The hours booked include setting up time and tidying up time. If necessary additional time will need to be booked to facilitate this. There is no additional charge for use of the kitchen.
The Rooms may be hired between 9a.m and 11pm . All persons must be clear of the building by 11pm.
There is an additional fully refundable deposit for party hire. This sum is £50 for children’s parties and £100 for adult parties. If any extra cleaning is required after such events the cost will be paid from this deposit if necessary.
We are always keen to help you with your booking and are very happy to show you around the Hall before you make any decisions. At that point it would be easier to tell us of your plans and how we can help. Once you have decided to go ahead the booking will be made and the Hiring Agreement will be sent together with the invoice. Payment for a one -off event must be made at the time of booking. Payments for regular users (eg classes) will be requested monthly in advance by invoice.
About The Hall
There is an enclosed porch to the front of the building with a ramp for disabled access. This porch opens directly into the Hall itself. There is also a side door which leads directly into the rear lobby and is the door most used by hirers.
The Hall is 12.2m in length and 7.6m in width.
The seating capacity is 80 and there are sufficient chairs and tables to seat 80 people.
At the end of the Hall there is a stage area which has electric sockets . There is no stage lighting.
There is a second, smaller room at the rear of the building ( The Lily Parrington Room) .
The main area of this room is 5.2m x 5.1m. The seating capacity of the this room is 30 .
The kitchen is a refreshment kitchen, equipped with cutlery and crockery for 100.
There isn’t a cooker or microwave. Kettles and teapots are available but there are no glasses.
There are toilet facilities including a disabled toilet off the rear lobby.
